The southern Caribbean echoes with reggae sounds and areas to layback and take it easy. Rocky reefs hide beach after beach. This is the case of Punta Uva beach, guarded from the big waves by a rocky peninsula and safe for swimming, this place is something out of a fairy tale around the white sandy beach, its green tropical vegetation and rainforest. In the dark turquoise rainforest, it is common to spot groups of monkeys as they move from tree to treee in search for food. Giant Iguanas, Sloth, Baird's Tapir ,crocodiles and a great number of species of birds are the residents of the south Caribbean rainforests. The south Caribbean is filled with laidback small villages dedicated to fishing, handcrafts and tourism. The Caribbean is not only very different from the Pacifi c scenery but also culturally different.

The majority of locals are Afro-Caribbean. The different culture implies unique cuisine, music and language. Our laidback tour will explore several beaches in the south Caribbean including Cahuita ,Puerto Viejo, Punta Uva , Cocles, Manzanillo and others. We will go to the end of the road where the lush jungle stops the road from continuing. From there narrow trails will takes us to incredible desolated beach heavens were you can lay back in natural surroundings.
